Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between I-Prin (ibuprofen) and Extra Strength APAP (acetaminophen)?
I-Prin (WSK-10047) contains Ibuprofen 200 mg, an NSAID that reduces inflammation in addition to relieving pain and reducing fever. Extra Strength APAP products contain Acetaminophen 500 mg, which relieves pain and fever but does not reduce inflammation. Ibuprofen is preferred for inflammatory pain such as arthritis and muscle injuries.
What is the adult dosage for I-Prin?
Adults and children 12 and older take 1 tablet every 4 to 6 hours while symptoms persist. If pain or fever does not respond to 1 tablet, 2 tablets may be used, not to exceed 6 tablets in 24 hours. Do not take for more than 10 days unless directed by a doctor. Do not give to children under 12.
Why stock ibuprofen in bulk unit-dose packets?
Unit-dose packets ensure pre-measured, hygienic, tamper-evident doses for workplace compliance, eliminating the liability of dispensing loose tablets from an open bottle while reducing medication waste and improving expiration tracking.
